Over 30 years in journalism, the last 22 at the BBC, Declan has worked as a producer in the UK and abroad, leading teams on major news stories, launched the BBC Korean service and oversaw the rollout of mojo across BBC Network news before taking up his most recent role running TV & Online for BBC England. Declan’s Responsible for the UK’s most-watched news programmes with 15 teams across England & The Crown Dependancies delivering local & regional news. Currently he is pushing a major investment in mojo-storytelling across communities. When not working or providing a family taxi service can likely be found on a bike.
