Director of Marketing & Communications for NUI Galway
Lorna Farren is the Director of Marketing & Communications for NUI Galway, a University ranked among the Top 1% in the world and the current Sunday Times University of the Year. Through internal and external channels across a range of platforms, the marketing and communications team shares University news, research, events and innovation with global audiences. Previously, Lorna held a range of strategy, marketing and communications roles, from the Ryanair press office to the Crisis Pregnancy Agency where she worked on the Think Contraception and Positive Options national health education campaigns, to a regulatory environment with the Medical Council.
A member of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland, she holds a B.A in Communications from DCU and an MSc in Business Practice from the Irish Management Institute.
